day 1

Ferghana-Osh flight to Bishkek

You will be met at Uzbek-Kyrgyz border. In Osh city you will go for a walk and visit the most famous place – Suleiman Mountain, it is situated in the center of the city and they say that it`s a pilgrimage place for local Muslims. According to the legend, biblical prophet Solomon (Suleiman in the Koran) was buried at the foot of it. Bishkek is located at an altitude 750-m.above sea level. City tour will start from visiting Victory Square, Oak Park, Central Ala-Too Square, the History Museum, National Philharmonic, and other interesting sightseeing’s.

day 2

Bishkek-Karakol (400km)

Today you will visit Karakol town in Issyk Kul region. The town is located in the eastern part of the region, at an altitude of 1690-1850 meters above sea level. The distance from Bishkek city – 400 km. There you will visit Dungan mosque and a wooden Russian Orthodox Church of the 19th century.

On the way, you will visit the museum of Mikhail Prjevalsky and national park.

day 3

Karakol-Altyn arashan-Karakol (120km)

Altyn- Arashan (Golden Spring) is located at 3000 meters high. and meaning “Golden Spa” in Kyrgyz. it is a stunning mountain valley located about 30 km from Karakol, in eastern Kyrgyzstan. It is famous for its natural hot springs, breathtaking alpine scenery, and its proximity to the majestic Peak Palatka (5020m).

There are several options to rich this place.

  • Hiking: A moderate trek from Karakol, best for active travelers.
  • 4×4 Vehicles: Rough, bumpy, but adventurous off-road drive available.
  • Horseback Riding: A traditional and scenic way to reach the valley.

Outdoor lunch (picnic). Then we will come back to Karakol.

day 4

Karakol-Jety Oguz-Kochkor (320km)

Today we will drive to Jeti Oguz gorge. It’s famous for its red rocks formations that have a name Seven Bulls – Jeti Oguz and the Broken Heart Mountain.

Then we continue our trip, breaking in Bokonbaeva village, where we will meet a local eagle-hunter.

At the Kochkorka village you will meet a family that will show you the way of how national woolen felt carpets are produced. You will also get to visit a small handicraft museum there. They have many examples of silver decorations, coats made of wolves, horse saddle decorations, carpets and more.

Kochkor-Song kul (140km)

In the morning, you will be transferred to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan – Son Kul on an altitude of 3013 meters above sea level. It’s known for its stunning natural beauty, nomadic culture, and opportunities for outdoor recreation.

The lake is surrounded by dramatic mountains, vast grasslands (called *jailoo*), and offers breathtaking views, especially at sunrise and sunset. The landscape is often described as otherworldly.

Song kul-Bishkek (330km)

Today you will be transferred to the capital –Bishkek. And you will pass Kara Keche Pass which is 3384m.

During the descending from Son Kul you may see yurts of nomadic families along the way some offer fresh dairy products like kumis (fermented mare’s milk).
