day 1

Almaty

Meeting in the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Check in. Time for rest.

The tour starts with sightseeing in the central part of Almaty. You will know more about the history and development of the Southern capital of Kazakhstan and see its major attractions.

A full-day Almaty sightseeing tour including the Central Museum, Green Bazaar, Panfilov Park (Zenkov Cathedral & Memorial of Glory), Medeo Gorge, and Kok-Tobe Hill (cable car ride & panoramic views).

Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

day 2

Almaty-Altyn Emel (350 km)

Day trip to Altyn-Emel National Park: Explore the ancient petroglyphs of Tamgaly Tas and the five royal burial mounds of Bes Shatyr. Experience the unique phenomenon of the Singing Dune (weather permitting).  It is unique wonder of nature is the Singing Sands, 220 km north-east of AImaty, on the right bank of the Ili River. In dry weather this sand-dune emits а sound like an organ playing.

Altyn Emel-Kol sai (320 km)

Today we will visit Kolsai and Kayindi lakes located in the Tian Shan mountains of Kazakhstan. They offer breathtaking scenery, surrounded by towering spruce forests and dramatic mountain peaks. Kol Sai Lake is known for its crystal-clear waters and tranquil atmosphere, while Kayindi Lake is famous for its unique landscape featuring submerged spruce trees rising from the water. Both locations are popular destinations for hiking, nature photography, and enjoying the beauty of the Kazakhstani wilderness.

Transfer to Saty settlement, accommodation in hotel.

day 4

Kol Sai - Almaty

Departure to Almaty. 
Sightseeing at Charyn Canyon on the way a natural complex, unique in its kind not only in Kazakhstan but also worldwide. It was formed during Paleogene and reminds the Grand Canyon of Colorado River in North America, although inferior to it in size.                             
Dinner in the train restaurant.  
Overnight Talgo train to Astana.
day 5

Astana

Arrival in Astana in the morning. Breakfast in a cafe. We start sightseeing tour in Astana.

The tour begins with an introduction to Astana’s rich history, from its origins as the ancient Bozok settlement to its transformation into the modern capital. Visitors explore the old historical part of the city, including key landmarks like the Monument to Kerey and Zhanibek Khans and the Kenesary Khan Monument along the Yessil riverside.

Key stops include: Hazrat Sultan Mosque, National Museum of Kazakhstan, Bayterek Monument, Government Quarter – Parliament, Supreme Court, and President’s Office, Astana Opera & Ballet Theater, 
EXPO-2017 / Nur Alem Pavilion – A futuristic Museum of Future Energy, housed in one of the world’s largest spherical buildings.

day 6

Astana

Today we will visit Alzhir – the camp of women’s tears. (3 hours) the former Soviet labor camp for women, provides a poignant reminder of Kazakhstan’s complex history.
Visit the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation.
Visit the sports complex “Astana Arena”.*
Visit the winter sport complex “Alau”. *
These sport complexes are available for visit only when visiting some sports competitions there or if  you want to visit a swimming pool / skating rink. Otherwise you can only stay outside and take some  photos of the buildings.

* Comfortable shoes: Expect a lot of walking, including on uneven surfaces.

* Weather-appropriate clothing: Kazakhstan has a continental climate with significant temperature variations. Summers can be hot, but evenings are cool. Pack both light and warm clothing (sweater, jacket). Remember that it can be colder in the mountains (Medeo, Kok-Tobe) than in the city.

* Protective gear: Sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.

* Documents: Passport, visa (if required), travel insurance. Keep copies of your documents separate from the originals.

* Money: Cash in Kazakhstani Tenge (local currency) and bank cards. Not all places accept cards.

* Adapter: For charging electronic devices. (Specify the type of adapter needed if known).

* Small first-aid kit: Pain relievers, medication for upset stomach, and supplies for treating minor wounds.
