Start your journey in Almaty, exploring the city’s charm before heading to the stunning Charyn Canyon, Kolsai, and Kaindy Lakes. Cross into Kyrgyzstan, discovering the beauty of Karakol, Tosor, and Chon Kemin, before reaching the capital, Bishkek.

From Bishkek, fly to Tashkent, the gateway to Uzbekistan, where ancient history comes to life. Explore Samarkand, home to the legendary Registan Square, and experience the grandeur of Central Asia’s Silk Road legacy before returning to Tashkent.

Almaty

Upon arrival to Almaty guide and driver will meet you at the airport and transfer to hotel for overnight.

day 2

Almaty

After breakfast visit Shymbulak ski base. By cable car go up to Talgar pass 3200m. Admire stunning Tian Shan mountains. In the afternoon visit historical museum, Panfilov park with Zenkov cathedral and Green Bazaar. Overnight in hotel.

day 3

Almaty – Charyn canyon – Saty village 300 km

After breakfast drive to Charyn canyon. This picturesque indigenous locality impresses with its heavenly landscapes. The Canyon itself represents a monument of nature formed with sedimentary rocks aged more then 12 million years. After excursion transfer to Saty village for overnight.

Kolsai and Kaindy lakes

After breakfast visit Kolsai lake. Take a beautiful walk along the area. Anyone fortunate enough to visit Kolsay Lakes in Kazakhstan will not soon forget their splendor and tranquility. After lunch visit Kaindy lake. It is lost in a coniferous forest at the height of 2000m above sea level among the Kungei Alatau Mountains. Lake was formed as the result of a huge landslide after the powerful earthquake in 1911.

Saty - Karakol 250 km

After breakfast drive to Karakol via Kegen border.
Karakol is a city located on the northern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul in Kyrgyzstan. It's a significant city in the Issyk-Kul region and offers a unique blend of Kyrgyz culture and influences from various historical periods. Karakol has a rich history, with influences from Russian colonization and the Silk Road. Its architecture reflects this diverse past. Key attractions include the Dungan Mosque, a unique wooden mosque built by the Dungan community; the Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church, a beautiful example of Russian architecture; and the Karakol Regional Museum, showcasing the history and culture of the Issyk-Kul region. The surrounding mountains offer opportunities for hiking and other outdoor activities.

day 6

Karakol – Tosor 180 km

After breakfast drive to Tosor via Northern shore of Issyk Kul lake. On the way visit Djety Oguz (Seven Bulls) gorge and the Broken Heart rock. A rock formation resembling seven bulls, a striking geological feature that adds to the dramatic landscape of the region. The largest of these rock formations is a reddish-brown monolith that dominates the valley. It also features a beautiful red heart-shaped rock.

Upon arrival to Tosor visit Skazka canyon. A stunning canyon with colorful, eroded rock formations that resemble fairytale castles, hence the name. The landscape is constantly changing due to erosion, creating a unique and ever-evolving visual spectacle. The colors range from reds and oranges to yellows and browns.

day 7

Tosor – Chon Kemin 250 km

After breakfast transfer to Chon Kemin valley. It is located in the north-eastern part of Kyrgyzstan, known for its stunning natural beauty and opportunities for outdoor activities. Through the scenic mountain views it can be orgnized horseback excursion among the valley (extra pay). There is a chance to merge a village life of local kyrgyz people.

day 8

Chon Kemin – Bishkek 200 km

After restful morning and breakfast drive to Bishkek. On the way visit ancient Balasagun settlement with Burana tower. It is a minaret dating from the 11th century. You can climb to the top if you wish to experience the same view that Silk Road travelers saw themselves. Burana Tower served as a sign along the Great Silk Road to let travelers know there was a city and place to have a rest. Nearby you will see an open air museum of Balban's (stone warriors).

day 9

Bishkek

After breakfast visit Ala Archa National Park. it is an alpine national park in the Tian Shan mountains, located approximately 35 km south of the city.

Take a beautiful walk along the river. Enjoy the nature.

In the afternoon visit main Ala Too square, historical museum, Oak park and Victory square.

day 10

Bishkek - Tashkent

After restful morning and check out visit colorful Osh Bazaar. You will be able to take a lot of dynamic photos of bustling local life. This bazaar is a noisy and colorful tapestry of fabrics, produce, and people selling and buying goods.

After shopping transfer to airport to pick your flight to Tashkent. Upon arrival to Tashkent transfer to hotel for overnight.

Tashkent

Tashkent has a history of more than 2200 years. Tchach (the former name of the city) was an important trade and cultural center in Central Asia, welcoming caravans of the Silk Road. During the Shaybanid dynasty in the 16th century, large madrasas and mosques were built, marking the city’s golden age: the Hazrat Imam Complex, including the Barak Khan Madrasa (16th century), the old Jami Mosque (Friday Mosque), which is still active today, and the Mausoleum of Kaffal Chachi – a pilgrimage site containing the grave of a great philosopher, poet, and doctor of Islam who lived in the 10th century; the Great Chorsu Bazaar, beautiful and very typical.

Tashkent - Samarkand

Tashkent Metro, the first in Central Asia, is unique in that each of its stations was decorated by the country’s greatest artists according to specific themes: cotton, the Uzbek poet Alisher Navoi, and more.
Panoramic tour: Amir Timur Square, Independence Square, Theater Square, etc.
Evening train to Samarkand.

Samarkand

Sightseeing in Samarkand:

The Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum (15th century), which means “Tomb of the Commander,” was constructed from the late 14th to the mid-15th century as the burial site of the Timurid dynasty.

The Registan Square, the most famous symbol of Uzbekistan. Its three madrasas – Ulugh Beg Madrasa (15th century), Tilla-Kari Madrasa (17th century), and Sher-Dor Madrasa (17th century) – still define the square today. (Registan means “sandy place,” but it is now paved.)

The Bibi-Khanym Mosque was built by Tamerlane in the 15th century as the largest Friday mosque in Central Asia for his favorite wife. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Samarkand

The Afrosiab Museum and excavations: This was the first Samarkand, mentioned in the holy book of Zoroastrianism, the Avesta, as the legendary capital of Sogdiana.

The Ulugh Beg Observatory: Between 1424 and 1428, the famous scientist and grandson of Tamerlane, Ulugh Beg, established a research facility here, whose remains were uncovered in 1908.

The Shah-i-Zinda Necropolis: A city of tombs featuring beautifully decorated mausoleums with majolica and mosaic tiles.

In the late afternoon, train journey back to Tashkent. Arrival in Tashkent and Transfer to the hotel.

Return to Tashkent.
